I finished reading two books from Collin Forbes - Deadlock and Sinsister Tides. Liked the former one more. Deadlock is about a Russian renegade on the verge of unleashing a holocaust.

Just finished with Jeffery Deaver's thriller "The Empty Chair", coming from the same author of "The Bone Collector" which also has a Hollywood movie. The book is very well-written with plots and sub-plots around the character The Insect Boy, though it seems the end was hurriedly written having a very flimsy climax. Okay, I am not a great (or even a good) critic, but all in all its a good book to read.

I had always liked the stuff from Wilbur Smith. Though I haven't read much from him. But "The Seventh Scroll" is still one of my favourite Read. And recently I also finished "Elephant Song", a typical Wilbur Smith, with a very detailed and descriptive notes on African Life.

This is a melodrama involving poachers of White Gold "Ivory" and the struggle of Dr. Daniel Armstrong, a naturlist, to stop the destruction of a species on the verge of extinction.

My current reads are a set of Christian Jacq titled Ramses.
