Advice for Computer Science College Students
This link is to an interesting article forwarded to me by my friend and colleague of past, Ashish Sidapara. The article 'Advice for Computer Science College Students' is from Joel. Joel had written extensively and I like his articles on Software Design. The writing is simple and very practical. Which ofcourse are from his personal experience in running and developing Software Products.
On Ashish, it seems he is reading a lot these days, as I keep getting new posts/links from him. He has always been very active on various Lotus Notes Forums including Lotus Developer Domain (notes.net) where he uses the screen name LoNo Developer.

Hey Subbu !!
thanks for responding .. i guess u r the only person who actually read it, out of the whole group.
you are gifted with another one now .. its an excellant article from Damien Katz (the person who rewrote the formule engine runtime called "Compute" in R6).
I would personally rate is as a "Must Read" .. and bet you would get motivated.

Hi Subhan!
You are my first comment so thank you very much:) I haven't even told my friends where I am on the net yet, just until I get a bit of confidence up, and I think you may well have helped with that.
Thanks for the advice about the 10MB thing, but being a bit of a computer fool I am not sure whether I am anywhere near that limit yet but I guess I should be able to set up another site fairly easily.
As for India I will be flying into Mumbai around September or October, which should be excellent, I am really looking forward to it. Do you have any suggestions of places that I absolutely have to visit while I am there?
Sorry to hear about the professional nature of your visit to Dubai, is there any chance of you running away from your work for a couple of days? A couple of my friends have just come back from a visit there (were they were foolish enough to get engaged!) but they say it was fantastic.
Have a groovy time if possible when at work!
Thanks again for the comment,
Twig
